Trailblazing educator and clinical psychologist with a 30-year career in higher ed, including serving as the first female president of Tuskegee University. She previously held senior academic leadership roles at Wagner College and Spelman College. A long-time Take The Lead board member, Dr. McNair’s scholarship explores gender and health behaviors, and she is co-editor of the seminal multicultural textbook Women: Images and Realities.
